Reflection

The View from Here #5: Quieter Than Silence (Oil on canvas 36x36 inches) is my newest painting. Experiencing the pandemic has forced a reduction of activity and noise. Silence can be maddening or move me into a peaceful state of inner quiet. Although I have vacillated back and forth between the maddening and peaceful states of being, I definitely prefer the latter…the quiet. Quieter than Silence is an expression of that inner quietude. This is what I feel when I am in the forest looking up at a full moon and “Luna” seems larger than life. Oh the wonderment!
